Geyserville Tree Lighting and Tractor Parade 2020–CANCELLED

November 28 @ 12:00 am

FREE

Always the Saturday After Thanksgiving!

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic we are  CANCELLING
the
2020 Tree Lighting and Tractor Parade

Our first priority is the safety of our visitors, community, and participants, so we have made the difficult decision to CANCEL the 2020 event.
All of the downtown businesses, however, are OPEN and welcoming
customers with safety protocols in place.

Restaurants have outdoor dining, as well as To-Go ordering online and by phone.  Most Tasting Rooms are open by appointment, and stores may have differing hours, but will welcome visitors who wear a mask and will keep a safe social distance from other shoppers.

Please shop locally for the holidays and beyond, and continue to support our Geyserville businesses!  Thank you.

PLEASe NOTE:  Information listed below is from last year’s event.  The Parade for 2020 has been CANCELLED.

THERE WILL ONCE AGAIN BE A COMPLETE ROAD CLOSURE IN GEYSERVILLE FOR THE DURATION OF THE PARADE
(Starting at 6:00 pm).  PLEASE PASS THE WORD.

Geyserville’s 2019 Lighted Tractor Parade will be Saturday, November 30th, from 4:30-8:00 pm–the parade is scheduled to start 6:15pm at the north end of town and will proceed slowly through downtown, making one pass. Santa & Mrs. Claus will again make an appearance before the parade. They will arrive at their temporary workshop in the Park & Ride Plaza near the Christmas tree beginning at 4:30pm (before the start of the parade). For best viewing, the parade takes place after dark.

Downtown shops and restaurants will be open special hours before, during, and after the parade for your convenience. Reservations are recommended for dining, and space fills up well in advance of the event. There will be food offerings for sale in several places throughout the parade route:  Near the Firehouse Diavola will have Pizza and The Wurst will have burgers and sausages; the Odd Fellows will serve hot dogs near their Hall, Ken Rochioli of KR Catering will be serving chicken or chili over polenta at  the Park & Ride lot, and the Elementary School.  Several non-profits will serve hot chocolate, popcorn, etc. also throughout the parade route.
