Geyserville’s 2019 Lighted Tractor Parade will be Saturday, November 30th, from 4:30-8:00 pm–the parade is scheduled to start 6:15pm at the north end of town and will proceed slowly through downtown, making one pass. Santa & Mrs. Claus will again make an appearance before the parade. They will arrive at their temporary workshop in the Park & Ride Plaza near the Christmas tree beginning at 4:30pm (before the start of the parade). For best viewing, the parade takes place after dark.
Downtown shops and restaurants will be open special hours before, during, and after the parade for your convenience. Reservations are recommended for dining, and space fills up well in advance of the event. There will be food offerings for sale in several places throughout the parade route: Near the Firehouse Diavola will have Pizza and The Wurst will have burgers and sausages; the Odd Fellows will serve hot dogs near their Hall, Ken Rochioli of KR Catering will be serving chicken or chili over polenta at the Park & Ride lot, and the Elementary School. Several non-profits will serve hot chocolate, popcorn, etc. also throughout the parade route.
For those who don’t mind a bit of a walk, parking will be available at the High School (Moody Lane) and Oriental Community Hall (the corner of Moody Lane and Hwy. 128). You can drop off family members in town and park in these two locations. There will also be limited parking at the lot on Railroad Avenue. Carpool if possible.
