Geyserville’s 2018 Lighted Tractor Parade will be Saturday, November 24th, from 5:00-8:00 pm–the parade is scheduled to start 6:30pm. Santa & Mrs. Claus will again make an appearance before the parade. They will arrive at their temporary workshop in the Park & Ride Plaza near the Christmas tree beginning at 5:00pm (before the start of the parade). For best viewing the parade takes place after dark and will begin around 6:30. Downtown shops and restaurants will be open special hours before, during, and after the parade for your convenience. Reservations are recommended for dining, and space fills up well in advance of the event. There will be chili and cornbread available at the firehouse for $5 or an unwrapped toy donation. There will be hot dogs available at the Oddfellows Hall.
For those who don’t mind a bit of a walk, parking will be available at the High School (Moody Lane) and Oriental Community Hall (the corner of Moody Lane and Hwy. 128). You can drop off family members in town and park in these two locations. There will also be limited parking at the lot on Railroad Avenue.
For parade entry information, or to volunteer, please contact Karen at North County Properties: 857-1728.
