AVHC is a federally designated Rural Health Center and California State licensed Community Clinic, offering family practice and acute medical care, as well as general dentistry, behavioral health and family counseling.

We strive to make the Center a comfortable medical home for you and your family. The Center is open to all residents of the community as we accept a variety of insurances, both public and private. For those without insurance, we accept self-pay or offer a sliding scale discount to those who qualify.

As a community service, AVHC offers after hours telephone contact with one of our physicians should an urgent question or situation arise. This is available to all members of the community, including those who are not clients of AVRMC.

AVHC is a not-for-profit organization [501c3], formed and governed by a volunteer board of local community members, including clients of the Center in 1995, and staffed by a dedicated team of health professionals including physicians, nurse practitioners, dentists, psychologists and other specialists.

PDI Surgery Center

1380 19th Hole Drive
Windsor, CA  95429

Every year, PDI treats 2,000 disadvantaged children who are suffering such severe tooth decay that they require surgery under anesthesia.  Their average age is 3 and the average number of teeth requiring treatment is 12.  We are also the permanent dental care home for approximately 250 special needs patients up to the age of 25.

Prevention Education
PDI’s Oral Health Educator works one-on-one with parents at the time of surgery explaining the causes of tooth decay and how to prevent it.  Promotores (lay health workers) work in the community to provide prevention education to families in need and also host two weekly radio programs.  The Healthy Hour airs on Radio KSVY 91.3 every Tuesday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, and La Hora Saludable airs on Radio KBBF 89.1 on Tuesdays from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

E-mail Jen Stasch, JD, MPH, Executive Director, at to tour PDI, or reach out if you want our health workers to speak to a group in Geyserville!
